The idea of YouAndMe formed when one of our co-founders Sharath Parvathavani was invited to direct a play for the Ranga Shankara Young directors festival in 2015. Along with Raj Shri, a seasoned actress on stage and screen, a team was formed that is a mix of experienced hands and up-and-comers.
A young team of YouAndMe actors, writers, directors, technicians and support staff work round the clock to better ourselves incessantly. While we were doing this, a veteran of stage and TV, Mr. Sethuram S N jumped aboard our bandwagon.

There are artists who love art, and there are some whom the arts love. She is shy enough to not accept the above statement but she also suspects it may be true.
Dr. Rajashree, a Ph.D in Communication and Journalism (Social – Psychological Analysis of Child actors in Kannada film and TV), is a multi-faceted artist, having 20 years of extensive and intensive experience in a range of artistic skills varying from Dance – performer and choreographer of Classical and Contemporary styles, Actor - film and TV and documentaries, Art coordinator and consultant, guest faculty for a PG course, Board member of a college, and a graphic designer. Phew.
And finally, she is as terrible at Math as she is an asset to the theatrical community!
Co-Founder and Creative Director
Playwright, Screenwriter (NYFA), Director
At a certain point in his life, while having not yet realized this – after a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a decade of working in the corporate realm in America- Sharath decided to test out his suspicion that there may be a writer lurking inside him. A course of Screenwriting at The New York Film Academy (NYFA) ensued, resulting in the happy confirmation of the suspicion. The very first screenplay written by him got picked up by a Mumbai production house and the Hindi film “Coffee Bloom” happened, instrumental in Sharath deciding to move from the US back to Bangalore. Having grown up in a playwright’s (grandson of famous Kannada playwright Parvathavani) home, it so turned out that a couple of Kannada plays - VAAVE (which artistically means “Unclear relationship with self”) and another, based on Anton Chekhov’s short story “THE BET”, produced by Ranga Shankara, were written and directed. Two English short plays (“Whose Apple is it anyway?” – a Musical, and “ Hee-Haw!” – a Children’s play) were written for the Tortilla Theatre festival at Alliance Francaise. The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, invited him to conduct a writing class for their undergraduate students. The writing continues and so does the discovery – of ways and means of expressing every idea, every spark that ignites the mind and heart, to its fullest maturity.
